Fox Interactive, co-publisher of the new Die Hard™: Vendetta video game for the Nintendo GameCube™ console, has incorporated Rigel Night Vision goggles for gamers to use within select in-game environments to illuminate dark areas such as subway tunnels and other places where John McClane attempts to defeat the bad guys.

DeWitt, Iowa.-November 6, 2002- Fox Interactive Inc., co-publisher of the upcoming Die Hard: Vendetta video game for Nintendo GameCube has chosen Rigel Optics night vision goggles to be used by its main in-game characters. The title features both John McClane and enemies using Rigel Optics goggles in the game as they battle each other in various environments, including in the darkness of the night. Based on the "Die Hard" blockbuster films, Die Hard: Vendetta continues the epic saga and features an all-new story line. In this game, John McClane is forced out of retirement to save his daughter who has been kidnapped in Los Angeles by a ring of art thieves hell-bent on destruction.
In early December, Fox Interactive plans to kick off a national televised sweepstakes on Fox Movie Channel, which is airing the Die Hard films, in both December and January, offering a lucky winner and guest a chance to attend Urban Ops, the largest tactical urban operations training center in the country. Winners will learn to "fast-rope" out of a helicopter, climb and rappel urban landmarks, and train in a number of tactical scenarios. Secondary winners will win both Rigel 3200 Pro Night Vision goggles as well as the Rigel 1100 Pro Night Vision monoculars.
